The SFA is a local NGO, founded to rent out technical assistance services in forestry-related topics to local farmers, timber or wood merchants and others.

The above services are to be paid for following a scale of charges. In that way, institutional paternalism is avoided and at the same time guaranteeing the independent existence of this service.

Despite the additional above-mentioned costs, the forest owners, who apply the rules of Sustainable Forest Management, obtain an economic benefit.
